If you’re sporty, you won’t get bored and with the climate you’ll be out and about. There are some great waves on Mirlefts main beaches so surfing and bodyboarding is popular here with plenty of surf schools and equipment for hire.

Getting around – Argan Region Activities
You can take a donkey trek or hike inland to one of the local villages.
There is car, Moped and cycle hire. There’s a regular local bus and taxi service to Tiznit and Sidi-ifni or Goulimin which is the gateway to the Sahara and has a camel market each week.

The Big Beach – Argan Region Activities
The “Big Beach” is the first thing you will see as you arrive in Mirleft. You can drive down to the beach from the main road and parking is available. On the other side to the left is Les Amicles which has flourished into a small town of its own since the 1980s. It’s made up of private homes, villas and some small guest houses. It’s located along the coast towards Aftas beach. Due to its superb location and flat terrain, it has developed.
Sunbeds and umbrellas are available for hire on the beach.
Tiznit is 30 miles (48 kilometres) north of Mirleft inland and it’s renowned for its silver and jewellery trade. It also has a number of markets and souks for traditional clothes, shoes, leather and artisan products.
Great for shopping with a number of cafes restaurants bar&hotels.
Sidi-ifni is located 18 miles (29 kilometres) south of Mirleft. It is situated along the coast with a beautiful beach and scenery. The traditional berber town has a weekly market on Sundays, cafes, restaurants, hotels, fishing and tourist industry. It was formerly a Spanish colony.
